Blueberries are the superfruit goodness, not only pack a punch of antioxidants but also full of contain vitamin C, which can be beneficial to cats that suffer from asthma, heart disease, cancer and dementia. Note this raw fruit should be only fed in moderation.

Spinach is full of iron that promotes the production of red blood cells and is chocked full of flavonoids and carotenoids that are known to help fight inflammation and cancer.

Bananas are loaded with potassium and fibre which will keep your feline’s inside as happy as its outside. Try freezing small pieces of banana for a cool surprise on a hot summer’s day or for a fun reward.

Fish is a favourite with our feline friends. Fish is full of omega-3 fatty acids known as an anti-inflammatory, is a lean protein that is excellent for building strong muscles and the natural oils in fish help to keep coats shining and skin healthy.

Apples are loaded with fibre and contain many vitamins that work to promote a healthy pet. As with other fruits, apples should only be given as a “now and then” treat.
